We meet Sunday mornings at 10:00 am. Worship lasts about an hour. We do a full Eucharistic liturgy with a 12-15 minute sermon. It’s a traditional service, but not stodgy. There is a lot of singing and because we are a small congregation, there’s an informal vibe to our services. We love spending time together and are looking forward to including you in this community! All are welcome to partake in all aspects of the service, including communion, no matter your church affiliation or lack thereof.
Kids are welcome to join the service! We understand that kids get squirrelly in church (some adults do, too.) There are fun toys to play with in the nursery behind the sanctuary, or they can move freely in the worship space. God put the wiggle in them, and we love them for it. We dismiss for Children’s Church after the children’s message. Kids are invited to come back to big church at the time of communion.

Our Beliefs
We are a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, an open and affirming denomination with a commitment to social justice. We believe that the gospel is “to bring good news to the poor, to proclaim release to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, and to let the oppressed go free” (Luke 4:18, NRSV). If what is proclaimed isn’t good news for the poor, the captive, blind, or oppressed, then it’s not the gospel as Jesus preached it.
We believe that we are invited to serve our community as God’s hands and feet. This means that we are committed to loving you as God wants us to love you, rather than slamming you with harmful theology.
Our Pastor
We called Pastor Grace Pardun Alworth in August 2021. She graduated with a M.A. in Congregation and Community Care in 2012 and a M.Div from Luther Seminary in 2020. She loves gardening, roller derby, and kayaking.
